Reliance Industries (RIL) has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 18,645 crore in the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26 (Q3 FY26).

After the company announced its December quarter results, its Global Depository Receipt (GDR) slipped by around 2% to $64.40 on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

During the same period last year, the conglomerate had reported a profit of Rs 18,540 crore. Yet, on a sequential basis, profit increased marginally by 2.6 per cent from Rs 18.165 crore.

The company’s revenue from operations, however, rose 10.5 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to Rs 269,496 crore from Rs 243,865 crore in Q3FY25. Sequentially, revenue was up by 4 per cent from Rs 258.898 crore.

“Reliance’s consolidated performance in Q3 FY26 reflects consistent financial delivery and operational resilience across businesses,” Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman & Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said.

“Reliance is entering a new phase of value creation with its initiatives in the artificial intelligence (AI) and New Energy domains. I am confident that Reliance will play a pioneering role in the evolution of these epoch-defining technologies, providing sustainable solutions at scale for India and the world,” Mukesh Ambani said.

The company stated that its consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (Ebitda) for the quarter stood at Rs 50,932 crore, up 6.1 per cent Y-o-Y, but the EBITDA margin fell to 17.3 percent from 18 percent during Q3 FY25.

Consolidated EBITDA rose 6.1% YoY to Rs 50,932 crore, while the EBITDA margin contracted by 70 basis points year-on-year to 17.3% in Q3 FY26.

Reliance Jio’s revenue from operations grew 12.7% year-on-year to Rs 37,262 crore in the December quarter, while net profit climbed 11.2% YoY to Rs 7,629 crore.

Reliance Retail reported a solid 9.2% year-on-year rise in revenue from operations to Rs 86,951 crore, while profit grew marginally by 2.7% YoY to Rs 3,551 crore.

Revenue from the Oil-to-Chemicals (O2C) segment increased 8.4% year-on-year to Rs 1,62,095 crore, while exports slipped 1.2% YoY to Rs 66,830 crore.
